Indeed. If anything I was never sure how deep skepticism was meant to abet progressive causes in the long term; especially when so much relies on convincing people man-made climate change is real, government inoculation campaigns are valuable, and so on.

As it is not possible to prove that something does not exist (or is not the cause), it is futile to use science to find an answer to an emperical question like the link between autism and vaccines. We need to think deeper if we wish to refute the "stupid claims"
