This is my concern. They claim to be combating “harmful racial stereotypes” but based on what I’ve read, I believe the opposite could occur. My 3 year old attaches no meaning to racial differences, and I’m not sure that drawing her attention to these issues is helpful. 1/

They told me that parents of color have these conversations early and offen, so they want to bring the rest of the classroom up to speed. But I’m still not convinced it’s beneficial. I’m hoping to right the ship, since it’s still a pilot program. Instead of withdrawing
