A minute ago you described the stuff we got in as hiccups of little import. Now you're echoing it & showing why it matters. It doesn't stay in the academy. "Verbal violence," ffs, cos we highlighted problems in identity studies.https://twitter.com/elaine__laroche/status/1050606177921331200 …

You are demonstrating what we addressed as a problem repeatedly. The idea that language is violent.

I can go in2 the details of why labelling etc is an issue but I charge $ for services. If you honestly cant spot covert harm there are plenty of psychotherapists or psychologists or domestic counselors available. Unless you want trauma-informed applied 2biz which is my thing.

I see. Was just reading your intersectional blog. You sell the "whiteness is racism" snake oil. And now you're mad because you've been caught. I will admit, you're a clever writer. Was creative writing a major, or was percieved racism? http://socialciphers.com/posts/ pic.twitter.com/HMzYBJ8a2H

So you *did* study perceived racism. I also noted your rather longish entry on your blog dated October 6th, and the subject matter being the grievance study work done by Helen, James, and Peter. It would appear you've been preparing your argument for some time.

I think you highlighted Helen's point. It's impossible to make any critique of grievance studies; anything less than full endorsement is interpreted by its fanatical adherents as oppression who default to a position of being victimised. You are a cult and unable to see that.

I'm not opposed to opposition. I'm opposed to untrained persons attempting public conflict resolution with those who represent vulnerable persons.

You say only trained people know that "way." It seems like you think you are a trained person. Ergo, you only advocate opposition on your terms. People do not need to seek permission from gatekeepers to disagree with an overtly political position, and saying so is...suspect.

Expecting consideration for vulnerable persons directly affected by the work of the feilds being exposed, is not the same as acting gatekeeper to debate.
