A minute ago you described the stuff we got in as hiccups of little import. Now you're echoing it & showing why it matters. It doesn't stay in the academy. "Verbal violence," ffs, cos we highlighted problems in identity studies.https://twitter.com/elaine__laroche/status/1050606177921331200 …

And I'm not talking about hierarchies and whatever nonsense.
-
You can talk about whatever you want. I won't hear it anymore. You make no attempt to use reason.
-
How so?

I'm not talking about language. I'm talking about behavior.
-
"Verbal" means words. Words are a part of language.

I suspect the issue isn't "violent language" as much as violence to her hip pocket Helen. I see from your bio your in the intersectionality business Elaine. That's the real problem for you, isn't it.https://twitter.com/elaine__laroche/status/1050613654041718784 …

*you're

Good job. I'll write you a check for grammer check. Great contribution.
-
I corrected my own mistake, and now you wish to apply an ad hominem argument to me about it? Sensitive are you?
-
Bait much?
-
I see. Was just reading your intersectional blog. You sell the "whiteness is racism" snake oil. And now you're mad because you've been caught. I will admit, you're a clever writer. Was creative writing a major, or was percieved racism? http://socialciphers.com/posts/ pic.twitter.com/HMzYBJ8a2H
-
Thats not in line with the concept of whiteness.
-
So you *did* study perceived racism. I also noted your rather longish entry on your blog dated October 6th, and the subject matter being the grievance study work done by Helen, James, and Peter. It would appear you've been preparing your argument for some time.

Im saying you stepped into another realm when you started addressing the nonsense outside of academia and that requires different considerations.
-
I think you highlighted Helen's point. It's impossible to make any critique of grievance studies; anything less than full endorsement is interpreted by its fanatical adherents as oppression who default to a position of being victimised. You are a cult and unable to see that.
-
I'm not opposed to opposition. I'm opposed to untrained persons attempting public conflict resolution with those who represent vulnerable persons.
-
So you just opposed to any opposition not on your terms.
-
No, just expressed in a way that can be used to further target vulnerable ppl associated w the fields in actually dangerous situations.
-
You say only trained people know that "way." It seems like you think you are a trained person. Ergo, you only advocate opposition on your terms. People do not need to seek permission from gatekeepers to disagree with an overtly political position, and saying so is...suspect.
-
Expecting consideration for vulnerable persons directly affected by the work of the feilds being exposed, is not the same as acting gatekeeper to debate.
