Get in the sea, Richard. I can deal with your wrongheaded religious, philosophical, political & economic beliefs, but you cannot support an attack on tea, as a Brit, and expect to have any credibility at all. #Traitor #OffWithHisHead #ProbablyFrenchhttps://twitter.com/rjheathfield/status/1005057353270652928 …

It's quite true. I even used to blend my own - so much Lapsang, so much EG, so much Darjeeling, the works. (Not saying I was any good at it.) I kicked the habit, though. And you can too, if you put your mind to it.

I culturally appropriate my potatoes locally, and I don't bother with corn or rice, but if I did bother, I'd buy them, not steal them. (And even if I were going to steal them, I wouldn't go all the way to Asia!) [Was that a straight enough bat?]

I've got no idea what a straight enough bat is on this, but I am worried the war on tea creates a slipperely slope that causes a jihad against coffee.

That's defeatist talk! We must be tough on tea, and tough on the causes of tea. Ask me my three main priorities for government, and I tell you: caffeination, caffeination and caffeination.
-
Tough on the causes of tea? You mean plants?
-
Gods, they're coming for the weed next? I think I'm beginning to understand what a straight enough bat is. I'll be sure to get one soon.
