I'll disregard your opening claim, because you're obviously upset. And, having been addicted to tea myself until my mid-20s, I understand how you feel. I really do. But now I know the evil that tea does - to the teapot, the sink, and most importantly the MIND. Not another drop!

Sure, sure, Ree-shar Bruyère-Champ .

It's quite true. I even used to blend my own - so much Lapsang, so much EG, so much Darjeeling, the works. (Not saying I was any good at it.) I kicked the habit, though. And you can too, if you put your mind to it.

I culturally appropriate my potatoes locally, and I don't bother with corn or rice, but if I did bother, I'd buy them, not steal them. (And even if I were going to steal them, I wouldn't go all the way to Asia!) [Was that a straight enough bat?]
-
I've got no idea what a straight enough bat is on this, but I am worried the war on tea creates a slipperely slope that causes a jihad against coffee.
-
That's defeatist talk! We must be tough on tea, and tough on the causes of tea. Ask me my three main priorities for government, and I tell you: caffeination, caffeination and caffeination.
-
Tough on the causes of tea? You mean plants?
