FFS, of course I don't think people who earn a lot should judge people who earn little on what they spend their very limited free cash on. I've seldom had much until recently and it's been wine & chocolate & boots.

I do think people who do have free cash to go out for meals & buy video games etc should think twice about calling themselves poor & saying they live in a nightmare world when they're still probably in the top 1% of the world and...

...other ppl in your own country are relying on food banks to survive & having their Disability Living Allowance taken away. I think there needs to be a bit of perspective here.

I looked up our income for our county. To my surprise we’re above middle so I need to stop whining. I just have friends that make a ton so I always feel broke but we’re really not.

Apparently, we are too and 1/3rd of that comes from my parents keeping us afloat since I stopped being able to work. People seem to think I'm rich because I say how lucky I've been because of this & buying a flat in a property slump but I don't mean we have much disposable cash.

My parents are rich which does give me a security that most people don't have but for most of our adult lives we've supported ourselves as a care assistant/student nurse and forklift driver. On good years, we've afforded cheap holidays.
