I have been trying, yet again, to explain French feminism to a certain American mathematician who shall remain nameless. Me: OK, so the real is imaginary & the imaginary is real & the the semiotic chora is like labia while men make linear rigid distinctions like penises. Him:pic.twitter.com/sgmBWntyxy

This reminds me of Camille Paglia. Despite all her railing against post-modernism, feminism, and the French her work really overlaps with the schools of thought she dislikes on a lot of things.

Also what French feminist authors specifically? Any famous names? Or just a lot of scholarly articles by professors.

        Irigaray and Kristeva mostly.

I've heard of Kristeva because she's referred to in Philip Roth's "The Human Stain". The book mocks political correctness, so maybe it wasn't fair to the French professor who idolized her. But obviously it sounds pretty crazy from the way you describe it.

@Goddoesnt did actually look a lot like that. I mean, I couldn't see him, but I have seen his WTF face before and it is a lot like that.

Say what?!? The only French femininism I've read is The Second Sex. It was a little loopy in places, but not *that* loopy!

That's not French Feminism. That refers to the Lacanian loons.

Not all penises are circumcised. Those that are not can be florid and rococo lookin'. To say that men make rigid distinctions because they can get hard, now that some linear weakass parallelism.
