But if we are guided practice detached from the meaning concepts then things become relativistic and unwieldy very quickly. This is a recipe for driving division and talking past one another.
But if you know of anyone who uses intersectionality & associated concepts of diversity, inclusion etc in a reasonable & rigorous way which includes the value of shared humanity & individuality and viewpoint diversity, please do highlight them to me.

Your question above is why I referred you to the Oxford handbook.

Which essay does this?

I would genuinely love to find an intersectional or critical race theorist who takes a humanistic approach, supports individuality and sees diversity & inclusion in terms of viewpoints rather than immutable characteristics. Generally, they don't & explain why very explicitly.
-
See, for example, Crenshaw, Laude, hooks, Coates, Hill, Wolf, Bailey, Medina, DiAngelo, Dotson, Applebaum, Mills, Boler, Davies, McIntyre, Ahmed & Sullivan, who all take the standpoint epistemology & identity politics approach which I am disagreeing with.

We generally oppose the SocJus take on human rights & equality issues just as we do the alt-right take on cultural integrity and social conservatism. This doesn't mean we oppose the left & the right. There are reasonable people on both sides tho I still come down on the left.
-
My most admired liberal lefties addressing these issues include people like Peter Tatchell, Sarah Haider, Kenan Malik, Bret Weinstein, Heather Heying, Matthew D'Ancona, Nick Cohen, Nicholas Christakis etc. But they don't take the SocJus approach. I can't support that.

I think Oxford handbooks are generally good sources.https://global.oup.com/academic/product/the-oxford-handbook-of-philosophy-and-race-9780190236953?cc=us&lang=en& …

...So do I but I'm not sure why you're showing me one. If it is to imply that I have not read sufficiently on intersectionality & critical race theory, you are mistaken. I've been learning about this for 7 years now & researching it pretty intensely for the last 9 month.
