Too many people are framing the problem in terms of identity rather than ideology tho. And they are doing so from their own ideology. The problem is not trans activists (or even worse, trans people) against lesbians, women or feminists. It's SocJus ideologues against dissenters.

This isn't to deny the specific nature of the hostility & the groups involved in it but the differences are ideological & the rationale for intimidation & violence is ideological.

Radfems who frame the motivation for the attacks on them as the continuation of a war on women or male violence or misogyny misrepresent the problem & make it harder to recognise as a particularly virulent form of the same authoritarian, censorious SocJus shit affecting others.

Fragile egos, territorial behavior, boasting about violence like a teenage boy after a first fight. I don't like the term "toxic masculinity" but if there is such a thing in its running rampant in this community and is being celebrated.

It's amazing how much narrative, ego, and "activism" can surround an issue to justify labelling and assaulting other people and feeling progressive and righteous while doing so. These movements are rebirthing the most toxic elements they claim to fight against.

I more or less understand the need for violence against (perceived) fascists, as they are considered dangerous for humanity. What I don't get is the violence against women who don't like dicks from those who wished they didn't have one.
