I have 17,000 words worth of notes for the first chapter of my book which is on postmodernism and I haven't even got to the 12 books I have at home & the 16 reserved at the British Library yet which discuss it, let alone the 2 dozen primary sources.

I've just been looking at what the major philosophical outlets, institutions and encyclopaedias see as most worth foregrounding. I have decided to return to begin & research PoMo as tho I know nothing about it. This will hopefully throw up stuff that I've neglected previously.

Gr8. I’m assuming that unlike most critics who use it as shorthand for “what gets under my skin” you’ll come up with a definition of POMO that is derived from research, and which you then critique, without shifting that definition.

I will necessarily have to be reductive but I will be very clear that I am looking at few specific ideas which have informed later scholarship and evolved within them and that there is a lot more to postmodernism than this.
