That’s fine. I maintain that you’ve badly misinterpreted my point here if you think I’m somehow disputing your thesis. My contention is that there’s a fundamental confusion in the critique you’re responding to. But no hard feelings.

I remember Richard Dawkins saying 'Don't keep on and on making the same silly joke!' when of course everyone had just made it once & it was funny once. Its coz everyone was making it at him. I'm really struggling with Twitter at the moment. Followers grew quite fast.

And I think quite a lot of people talk to me for an account at my level. I have to get my head around this or I'm just going to have to stop using it or antagonise people who are just trying to have a conversation.

You should certainly keep using it. You’re honestly one of my top 5 people to follow. My jaw dropped a bit at first but it sounds like I misread you. The important thing is how you humbly handled the end of the thread.

My general goal when responding to tweets is to say something novel that someone else isn't likely to have already said and that probably leads to me responding tangentially quite a bit.
