No problemo, just putting it out there on the record.

I already told everyone.https://twitter.com/HPluckrose/status/1001117061798604803 …

You haven't specified why you blocked us in that tweet though. We aren't abusive trolls, we are social scientists linking you to research articles.
-
I didn't want to hear any more about statistics but I do not owe you an explanation of why I chose not to engage with you. You owe no-one any for who you decide to engage with, mute or block either. You are committing the fallacy of demanding to be heard.https://areomagazine.com/2018/04/07/freedom-of-speech-and-the-fallacy-of-demanding-to-be-heard/ …

I 100% agree it is your right to block social scientists who tweet research at you. I disagree that this action carries no implications for how we should think of your openness to science and evidence.
-
But as you have now put on the record that you do not care about statistics - the bedrock of social science - I actually think we agree on your position!

I still have people DMing, btw, even after mass blocking. That's why I locked my account. Even if you feel blocking should only happen when someone is very abusive, you still do not need to tweet my name, my publication & encourage people to jump on me or the magazine. Not nice.
