Then show that choices are limited. This is a tedious conversation. What matters is equal opportunities. If you are telling me that statistics cannot include hours worked and jobs chosen. I have no use for your statistics. I don't care if women get paid less coz they work less.https://twitter.com/besttrousers/status/1001024779405676547 …

That is shown by the experimental studies I linked earlier. Sorry this conversation is tedious. But learning statistics is hard work, not fun and games.

Well you can "go back to the 50s" by looking at countries with less gender equality. They have less gender pay gap and lower female workforce participation. Ergo there seems to be association between gender equality and gender pay gap.

That link doesn't support your claim. That the gap is lower in low income countries doesn't suggest it's lower in countries with more gender equality. The write up specifically goes against your interpretation:pic.twitter.com/NsTiL6w1wD

That was my claim! There is a lower gap (for women in work) in less equal countries!

That's not what the link talks about. Low income doesn't imply greater gender equality.

"Olivetti&Petrongolo show that this pattern holds in the data: unadjusted gender wage gaps across countries tend to be negatively correlated with gender employment gaps. That is, the gender pay gaps tend to be smaller where relatively fewer women participate in the labor force."
