uh, it's pretty well-established in the literature.

not worth it. She's an editor at Areo; that mag is conservative culture war bs from front to back, and they love Peterson.

This kind of dishonestly does not serve you well. Areo is non-partisan, has many leftist writers, including me and has published several pieces critical of Peterson. We've only actually published one which included a positive mention of him.https://areomagazine.com/2018/01/29/the-guru-appeal-of-jordan-peterson-in-our-post-everything-world/ …

The one about
@AreoMagazine "loving Peterson." She posted two essays they ran that are critical of him.2 replies 0 retweets 4 likes -

Yeah, neither of those is really critical. Color me deeply unimpressed. I don't think a retraction is necessary. Sorry.

Really? It's not critical to say that Peterson offers an ideology of "macho nonsense" and that his advice is often superficially persuasive but actually "broken and misleading"? OK, whatever. I don't know why I even bother.

Yeah. There is a ton of praise of Peterson in that piece; bends over backwards to insist he's a serious public data driven intellectual with deep humanity and insight, etc. I think it's still fair to say that Areo loves him.

Clearly nothing except a long screed calling him evil personified will please you. BTW, serious and honest people make effort to be charitable as far as possible before pointing out the problems in someone's thinking/ethics.

I for one am shocked, *shocked* I say, to see that Noah Berlatsky has decided to double down despite being provided with evidence that he's wrong about something. It's totally out of character for him.
