The question is whether you can define "meaningful" in a way that excludes any relation to the true.

I don't think that's the question. It's not one I am interested in, anyway. Some people's meaningful will be more evidence-based than others and people will waffle around the word 'truth.'

You seem to be limiting "truth" to the objective domain. Stick's a more subjective inclusive usage. I think you are each using different assumptions, and therefore talking past each other.

This is partly a language problem. When you say an answer is 'right', do you mean it's objectively true or morally correct? These are very different domains, the evidence that feeds discussion in them comes from very sources, and the way it's evaluated is very different.
