There is no real problem if someone saying 'subjective truth' explains they mean 'subjectivity' & do not claim this to tell us anything true except for their thoughts and feelings. Its when people blur this & demand their perceptions are taken as seriously as the facts.https://twitter.com/PlayseHoulder/status/1000043935836684288 …

This discussion of the meaning of "truth" mirrors the Sam Harris vs. JB Peterson debacle on youtube; you seem to be on Harris's side of the battlefield. I get what you're saying logically, but so long as terms get defined, still don't see major problems with the colloquial use.

Aren’t perceptions always combined with truths and facts ?isn’t the perception of a minority or majority based on the perception of what their leaders propagate?

Doesn’t that mean every group believe the same “facts” especially when it comes to ethics and morals. And when you as an individual don’t share all the same truths and morals you find yourself always in the middle usually attacked by the majority of both opposing groups.

I'm not sure what you're asking. Objective truth exists. Different people and yes, often different groups have different perceptions but this is what it is - different perceptions of truth, not different or subjective truth. The truth is not dependent on perceptions.

My question is how much can People tolerate “truths” of different cultures when every culture has their own truths?

This is a different question altogether. Those truths may or may not be true and that is what I am interested in primarily.

Truth is based on reality.Reality is a construction of the http://mind.So  if one foundation of a cultural construction is solid whereas other cultures are more open to different realities wouldn’t that mean that the solid construction would take over the more open minded

Well, reality simply isn't a construction of the mind. Reality existed long before minds did. I don't know what the rest of it means but you'll be better off talking to feminists, theologians or metaphysicians about it than me.

Does reality exist without a mind trying to make sense of it and if reality exist outside of our own perceptions what is truth?

          Replying to @nr1woman

Yes. There is much evidence of reality existing before minds which could make sense of it. Dinosaur fossils for example. We are such arrogant apes to think we can make reality bend to our minds. Truth is what is. The existence of dinosaurs is a truth.
