    We received 50 mm of rain at the reserve over the weekend! That’s more than we got in the whole of 2019! All the clay pans and gilgais in the area are full of water. Even the have come out! 📸 , Poppy Walker &

    What a cool find! I only caught ~9 planigales in 2.5 years of intense trapping in the Lake Eyre Basin. Some people (aka & ) just have to go for a nocturnal stroll & they’re mobbed by tiny dasyurids!

    Apparently my monitoring equipment makes great shelters for Peron’s tree frogs. Found these cute little blighters sitting on the acoustic recorder when I removed the monitoring camera that was above it
