Why are you issuing new passports without the words 'European Union' on them? We haven't left yet and we don't know if we will even leave the EU. Put them back.

I've just had to apply for a new passport 5 months early because you need 6mths+ left on your passport to travel to certain countries and you haven't added those 5 months onto my passport like you used to. When did this change or is it an error on your part?

Hi, since September 2018 in order to meet international guidelines relating to maximum passport validity, we no longer carry over any validity from a previous passport. Katy
