This is part of our ‘first of class’ generation process. We’re in a Capability Insertion Period (CIP). After each set of trials (power & propulsion, mission systems, rotary wing flying) additional kit needed for the next batch is added. Next up is fast jet flying trials.

Except for the fact that the aerospace Rolls Royce that produce the mt 30 gas turbines is a completely different (german owned) company that manufactures the cars.

True. Rolls Royce owns the name and licences it to the car company.
