500g per litre seems a bit light for paint? Unless its "special" paint ;')

a litre of water weighs 1kg so likely that paint will be heavier. Though this doesn't take account for watering down by the Buffer

surely the paint will be oil based, and therefore (v slightly) lighter than water? But def not 500g/L!
