I miss the way Forces Chefs rise to the challenge to create wonderful things from food. Mess dinners were the highlight of Regimental life.

Fine dining on a submarine at sea would encompass items like 'Excrementa sur la Kon-Tiki' (Shit on a Raft) ; 'Babies Heads and Train Smash' ; 'BITS, SHITS and TITS' (Beans / Spaghetti Hoops / Tomatoes in Tomato Sauce) ; 'Blood Pumps' (hearts). Etc. Truly a culinary extravaganza.
