Our aft island (built at Scotstoun) & Lower Blocks 3 & 4 (built at Govan) have now brought the whole Ship back to the Firth of Clyde.
We will spend the next period at Glenmallan filling up for #CSG21.

Welcome home. Did get a bit of a fright when I opened the blinds and saw you opposite my house!
At some point, carriers will have crossed the same line of military obsolescence as their predecessors, battleships. I just hope that they haven't already 
Very much the opposite. Carriers are adaptable and because they deliver the most potent military capability - air power that can be improved and varied as technology changes - they are not trapped in single capability aspic like battleships were.

I remember reading that the planned extension to Glenmallan was delayed, does that add some challenge with loading in and around a construction area?
