But to be a #StrikeCarrier we need serviced jets, serviced helicopters and ammunition 
We need lights, radars, comms, IT, power, showers, air and ovens 
We need engines to get to sea and #engineers to stay at sea

2/2 Over half of our crew is made up of them and this year, we worked and nurtured them. From the junior, to the senior, to the officer - we conducted over 235 professional examinations and had 56 selected for promotion. Love this. I’m an ex-Lynx SMR, I’ve been out for nearly twenty-two years and I still badly miss it ... posts like this make it worse, but at the same time hugely proud 
To be able to describe yourselves as a true Strike Carrier, you also need: CEC, ALIS?ODIN, decent broadband width, greater AEW range,a complete set of escorts and submarines etc.; for some of these one must look to the future when catapults and arrester gear will require fitting.
Apparently by your standards, but it is possible they may simply disagree. Terminology is a tricky thing but I think it is safe to assume HMS Queen Elizabeth's use of 'strike carrier' is probably the same one it has been for the past few months or even years.
