Ok, I have a question, if we were under attack and our coastal waters were being approached. What would happen if you had to get there but you can't because it's windy. Does the enemy just have to check the wind before they attack us? lol

It's a risk calculation, if there is an immediate threat, obviously the wind would be deemed less important. If there is no threat, there's no harm being on the safe side of things. Plus its not like a carrier is our primary littoral defense...

Why? The ship has always been subject to wind conditions. She and her sister have “weather Windows” when it’s safe to sail., this window can be a week long because winds can be unpredictable sometimes.
