So will that be two or three jets? Every time we hear about 820 NAS going onboard we see three Merlins. Is three the new Sqn?

12 is the size of the Sqdn 617, however on this occasion up to 8 will embark on QNLZ. 2 will be in maintenance and 2 are on land as temp addnts to 207 Sqdn for contid training. We also have 3 at EAFB in the US for continued system tests and upgrades. 17 thus far more to come.
