Have there ever been any other instances of US aircraft operating from UK carriers in the past ?
-
US Navy Phantoms operated off Eagle and others and of course USMC AV-8B aircraft operated of Ark Royal etc. In WWII we lent them HMS Victorious when they lost carriers in the Pacific and it was operated as a US carrier.
