So it’s a #WhiteChristmas for @hmsprotector! We’ve just arrived inside the #volcano caldera at #DeceptionIsland for two days of work ashore and for Christmas dinner tomorrow. After an emotional crossing of Drakes Passage it’s great to be settled on #ChristmasEve

From my recent trip to the Falkland Islands and Punta Arenas, I have learnt that there are quite literally thousands of wrecks in the region. I took a swim in my
