Our F35-B's aren't the only aircraft on here today with Short Take-Off Capability. Today we had a 'flying' visit from an MV-22B Osprey from @USMC #CapabilityIncreased #GlobalReachpic.twitter.com/XwtvguYDzL

Hope this is not just a fly by in the long run, when you have a STOVL/VTOL Carrier, having this asset is a no brainier.

Not sure it would fit down the aircraft lift, anyone correct me if I am wrong! Safety record not so great either

Ospreys are excellent. Are the RAF really interested in getting some, or was that a dream I had?

Dream. Its been looked at and reviewed before. Its not urgently needed and very expensive for what it does. We dont urgently need an orgamic refueller. There are other means.

How is it backwards to choose STOVL over CATOBAR when STOVL is the more modern system?

Probably another dumb question on my part..... could the V22 use the ramp to increase takeoff weight? (Genuine question)

        Replying to @PeterMorgan20 @HMSQNLZ and

Pretty sure the answer is no. The aircraft by default is made to take off vertically with max weight, so even it could it doesn't need to.
