    On completion of handing over Command this morning, Cdr Hugh Harris RN departs on assignment. The Executive Officer Lt Cdr Rob Moore RN now has Command until the new CO joins in the New Year. All the very best for the future Sir.

    So for those wondering, yes the bell is used as a font. The name of the child is then engraved on the inside rim of the bell. We have quite a few names there now including some siblings and the child of a sailor on exchange with us! A lovely tradition.

    Over the Remembrance weekend, we had members of the Ships Company in our affiliated town of Scarborough and city of Dundee. A Veteran of HMS Duncan (F80) based in Aberdeen also received a visit and was presented with a baseball cap from (D37).

    A hugely successful charity cake sale hosted by WO1 Harris onboard raising over £270 for Combat Stress. He will be running the 22 mile ‘Race to Remember’ on Sat 13 Nov. A massive thank you to everyone who supported the event.
