If you are affected by the Loan Charge, then come together with others to chat about it and to take Action. LCAG supports you to lobby your MP, to meet local people also affected, raise awareness and to take legal action to via a crowdfunded Judicial Review.

Again, reports here & elsewhere that loan scheme trustees have sold loans & the new holder is calling them in. As (we think) we set out when this last raised its (very) ugly head, there are some angles to be worked here. Let me know if this is an issue for you or your client.

This is an absolute disgrace many contractors being blanket assessed , projects being mothballed and work going offshore

They are going for the full amount on the basis that there's an open enquiry. This somewhat ignores that they haven't managed to work the enquiry at all in 10+years.

  12. Morning. Today I'm announcing I've commissioned a large scale study by the LSE to find ways to release 170,000+ mortgage prisoners. Many are stuck on hideous rates, often as the govt sold their loans to inactive lenders. Something needs be done. Pls read

Are you taking the piss? There will be thousands of freelancers (including me) turfed out of assignments THIS MONTH due to huge blanket bans on PSCs and wrongful status determinations. All thanks to your off payroll reforms. First time in 10 years I'll have NO WORK.

I have clients engaged in Divorce proceedings and settlements simply to protect their families from absolute, utter ruin and misery in face of amoral HMRC behaviours and an Orwellian collection process The dull evil of this self serving Bureaucracy deserves total condemnation

Here's my update for the HMRC CEST tool: Do you get holiday pay? Do you get sick pay? Do you get a pension contribution? Do you get maternity/paternity pay? Do you get expenses? Do you get training? If you answered no to the above questions, then you are outside
