Can you help @YouTube I have every restriction I know exists on my children’s iPad. So can you tell me why some of the ads in between videos are not age appropriate to the restrictions set on the account? X

Hi Stacey, we'd like to help! Have you tried using the YouTube Kids app? It only shows family-friendly ads and there's a whole set of parental controls you can set up (here's how: https://support.google.com/youtubekids/answer/6172308 …) Also, feel free to DM us with more details on the inappropriate ads found!

I am going to try YouTube kids out. The problem for me is... why are there restriction options that aren’t protecting the consumer? Why can they not watch a U rated video without higher rated ads popping up? It is scary. Who/what is policing the content for ads on

@NetflixUK is terrible too. You can set up a kids profile and password protect content but you don’t need a password to switch onto an adult profile, which show trailers for all sorts of inappropriate stuff! Sort it out@NetflixUK ! Password protect those profiles!1 reply 0 retweets 0 likes -

@NetflixUK is shocking!! Can’t leave my two young kids with it, if they go into kids profile it is better however nothing stopping them from switching to the adult?! Just feels like a mission to put the controls on! It’s mad!1 reply 0 retweets 0 likes
However, you could argue that Netflix is not optimised for Children this is just an additional bonus
