My first thought is they don't look sick. They look vibrant, full of energy and genuinely into life.

This happens when you watch anything from the 80s. People's energy levels were through the roof!! It's contagious. And I lived in that time too, and I remember this clearly. Everyone was high energy. Something has been draining the world population of enthusiasm.
