I’m shocked England have still not produced a player of Paul Gascogne’s quality. They have a better overall team now but nobody is at his level IMO. He was something else though.

I always think people like Gazza and Glenn Hoddle etc just had god given talent. Literally. The skill level is just 'in them'.

The English football system discourages any kind of flair and creativity for the most part Coaches telling defenders to kick it up field for a tall fast kid to chase from a young In concrete pitches all over the country there will be kids with that skill who coaches don't want
