The reason the sugar in fruit does not spike the blood sugar level is due to the skin of the fruit having fibre in it. Which takes time to break down. Slow release - if you make it into fruit juice? Your blood sugar spikes just the same as it would drinking cola. Eat whole fruit

So yes sugar is in fruit in it’s natural form (fructose) but due to the nature of the fruit itself - your body won’t suffer by eating it. Pretty simple mate - apply the same to Porridge Vs bread. Both carbs / one spikes blood sugar one does not. Easy
