One profound thing I learned from getting into Defi last year was. When you have some token staked in a vault and it's generating a large amount of cash every day, (which you can convert to normal money and have in your bank the same day if you wish) You feel invincible.

I got a taste, or even a slight little sniffle, of what it's like to be a central banker, to have the ability to generate cash on tap for NOTHING. NGL - it can mess your head up.

Now, this particular case only lasted maybe a few weeks before it crashed, but I made such a nice profit for bugger all work or effort. It did flick a switch in my mind that I was not aware of beforehand.

I thought about the Rothchilds etc, and how these guys have done basically the same since the 18th century or so. How long could you print money on demand before you ended up as mental as these elites?

The question is - If the average man had that much money and power for so long - would it be any better or worse than the current ruling elite? It just made me think about stuff differently.

Something I’ve observed recently with a particular character. Born phenomenally wealthy only accumulated more since - defo involved in seriously weird shit & the more I dig the weirder it gets. It’s like nothing can satiate the imagination until it becomes sadistic/destructive
