"Get hit in the face" advice is normally from these gurus that go to middle-aged Dad boxing classes. Any seasoned boxer would tell you NOT to get in the ring just for some mental toughness, it's too risky on the brain.

Yes exactly. Different for people like Ali, but that man was 6 foot 3 and was faster than lightweights. Only if you don't have anything else going for you is a boxing career a viable option.

He went too long and was talking shots from dudes like Liston and Joe Fraizer. Which I imagine would he pretty hard. Especially Sonny Liston. I would not wanna fight him
