One VERY interesting observation about this to me is - notice how they have internet and phone access in a camp? Take away the devices and the internet, what would happen? Yeah. You get my point here. The internet and mobile phones are the bondage. Think about that.
Take this example and apply it worldwide. What would happen if we all ditched our fones and the net for a set period? We would be forced to interact face to face with people we actually know. The matrix would implode in no time.
They are comfortable living in their pods.
They are making it seem like its really to help hence you get to keep your phone etc. Baby steps.
I doubt the phones or internet will ever be taken away. Far to useful and they ultimately keep people united in a real human manner.
