@HKBelvedere is right, Australia is really the first experiment with these measures. The fact that it is isolated & not landlocked to other countries must be part of the reason.
Maybe. I would also say the big houses, sunshine and freedom for so long made the Aussies very laid back and their guard was down. Their leaders are look really unhinged and evil also.
