Yes. Because it was symbolic of the new age nanny state being born. It was not the ban in general I disagreed with, rather, the wholesale nature of it. Why an outright ban? Surely it should have been down to the owners of each business or whatever. Too micromanaged for me.
Why can't a cigar shop have a lounge where people smoke them? Why can't pubs have smoking areas for smokers and not smoke areas for non-smokers. Basic choice and common sense.....
