Your mind is hard-wired bigtime from birth to 3 years old. The time you hit 7 your pretty much set for life. If you can make those 7 years peak level programming you are set as an adult. Very difficult to rewire afterwards.

I have a 3 yr old, 2 yr old and a 3 mo old. I'm always trying to be reminding myself of this.
The early years are critical, but they're hard. Maintaining the drive to do the hard stuff is daunting.
