Pedestrian Traffic lights may appear to be a harmless bit of technology that prevents vehicles from hitting people. On the surface they are just that. But at a deeper level - they are very symbolic of the plight of the human race and our slavery to external stimulus

I only press it when there's heavy traffic and it's obvious I won't get through without it. But yeah, some people will legit press the button and wait when the road is empty for miles. Literal drones.
