Female behaviour in the context of a relationship is always down to how the male carries himself. If your THAT guy she won't become a difficult partner. If you have underlying self-doubt, insecurities, or commitment/trust issues - she picks up on that and acts accordingly.

Agreed. My GF was all “I’m independent, don’t want to live with anyone etc etc” when we met. Now, just a few months later she wants me to move in and looks to me for decisions. All because I’d done work on myself and am just secure. No bullying or taking over needed
