The issue with Machiavellian tactics is - as more people adopt them, it becomes less effective. Sure, at the start, those types rise to the top. But over time, too many people do it and it creates deeper issues.

If too many sell out. The foundations of our culture crumble from within. We need stronger connections and a renewed sense of togetherness. Because all we have is each other in the end.
