very good take I reckon ur spot on. I always thought H&S was about office wankers keeping busy and finding more ways to keep busy as the pop. grew stupider But the pop. got stupider as the walls all became cushioned. Hence why it's part of the demoralisation. I see it now
Health and safety regulations are just a very watered-down version of political correctness. It's all “worst case” or “yeah, but that could happen” It was a big part of the demoralisation.
