True salesmanship comes from a position of service. Sales can be scammy, or spiritual. Entirely depends on your values as a human being. Sales is merely an extension of. your persionality. Your ability to affect change in the world.

Sales doesn't feel bad when you have something of value to offer.

Depends on the salesman that is behind the product. It could be the best thing since sliced bread he is selling but this may not be enough to make him enjoy selling it.......

Sales is not bad if you do it for a product which you can trust for life. Salesmen help people to gain knowledge on the product and help them to take a decision. Unfortunately, Sales people are unnecessarily maligned in society.

I did sales for a good while. Never had an issue with communication and loved the tactics of it—but I couldn't stand that I was selling worthless junk. I've been trying to create truly helpful assets ever since.
