They gave men sports to replace real battles and tactics. Why do you think football/soccer teams have formations? Sport is a massive hoax to satisfy man's need to do battle with other men. It's a synthetic version of a real battle to the death.
I should have stated in the initial tweet - I was referring to spectators of sports more than people who take part in them. Playing sports has many benefits for the players but zero for the consumer.
