I think it helps for most people who get there. But it is not built on pain as a needed component. And pain for sure doesn’t secure this as almost everyone will be blissful by now

Experiencing pain isn't enough, that is true. Something else is required. I would say that pain, and there are different reasons for the pain to be experienced, is more or less always needed.
