I believe the reason behind this lack of chewing goes back to the same old vice - dopamine addiction. People just can’t wait to get that food into the stomach for that hit. It’s more a chemical craving than actual hunger. Have you ever been truly hungry?

Now on a deeper and more esoteric level. You can see how dopamine has been really weaponised to keep us in a state of constant consumption/buzz/withdrawal. It’s sometimes hard to admit to even fathom how much we have been under a full spectrum attack. Food,survival and sex
