When dealing with a toxic person. You often find as you pour good energy into them, they pour bad energy back. This leaves you both energetically dirty. Imagine they are a glass of oil, and you, a glass of water. Keep pouring into each other, end result - you both end up filthy.
If you had a glass of water and poured into a glass of oil, what colour would the oil remain? Then, take the oil and pour into in the water, what colour would the water become? Do you see what I mean now?
