Miss the 90s often too. It’s those pre-9/11 vibes. To me that’s the shift
People are dead inside. Something sucked their souls away over the years. I often think about the 90s. When people were much more animated and in the moment. Alive and kicking. Full of personality and character. What the hell happened?

I feel like Computers where an amazing addition but phones... not for everyone.. but majority impacted bad. Yes i have one too but kids my age these days almost can't turn off their phones while being outside

People have become disconnected with reality. Not just that but they stopped teaching students to follow their dreams and instead taught them to chase after a big salary rather than being happy. I think.

I'd add that it isn't they don't preach "chase happiness" but more that they've convinced a generation that money = happy. Or even just "some empty thing" = happy. You need more to fill your soul than the junk the world offers you.
